Cloud Backup FAQ


How Do I Get It?
The Cloud service is built in to our premium Android apps.

How Much Is It?
Free for all of our customers.  Some localities may be ineligible for the service.

Is It Safe?
We believe we have made all reasonable efforts.  We use industry standard AES-256.  All data is encrypted/decrypted on device, using your password, before the encrypted backup is uploaded to our storage server.  Only you know your decryption key, so don't lose it!  We cannot recover account data or backups, so if you forget your password then your stored data is effectively gone for good.

How Do I Backup To The Cloud?
Visit the in-app settings and press 'Backup' and follow the prompts.

How Do I Restore From The Cloud?
Visit the in-app settings and press 'Restore' and follow the prompts.

How Many Backups Can I Have?
One backup is allowed per app per account.

Can I Backup Multiple Devices?
The last backup performed will overwrite any existing cloud data.  Only one backup is allowed per app per account.

Can I Sync/Restore Data To My Other Devices?
Yes.  You may restore a backup to any number of devices.  Simply backup to the Cloud using your master device and then restore back from the Cloud on your other devices.  There is currently no automated sync functionality.

What Can I Backup?
The service is strictly for our applications in-app settings, notes and favourites.  Personal, or other manually selected files, are not permitted.

I've Lost My Username or Password...
Sorry, due to the security measures we have taken, it is impossible for us to be able to recover passwords or backed up data.
